Lending Helping Hand with Gallo Family Vineyard
There are plenty of good reasons to get excited for Moscato Day, #MoscatoDay on May 9th 2014. At Wine Channel TV, we think it’s wonderful when wineries and customers work together to give help to those who need it the most. Gallo Family Vineyards is not only known for their line of deliciously sweet Moscato wines, but for contributing to the Meals on Wheels Association of America with the Every Cork Counts campaign. For every wine cork that is sent back to Gallo Family Vineyards, the company will donate $1 (up to $50,000) to this association. Instead of sending back the actual cork, you can still help by simply taking a picture of the wine cork, upload the photo, and submit it to their website.
The Meals on Wheels Association of America helps to deliver meals to seniors who live with limited mobility or at assisted living centers in the United States and USA territories. Not only does the association provide nutritional meals to those in continuous need, but upon discharge from a hospital or in the unfortunate occurrence of an emergency, a senior citizen can become a candidate to receive meals from the association. Meals on Wheels is ready to help and through Gallo Family Vineyards, you can donate to this excellent cause today. At Wine Channel TV, we’re all about exploring what happens when taste and tech collide, but taste and charity will certainly go a long way to help others in need.
Get started helping others today with the Every Cork Counts campaign and a Moscato wine from Gallo Family Vineyards. Even if you are not sure which Moscato wine to try for the spring and summer seasons, the brand offers three different Moscatos: White, Pink, and Red! The White Moscato is super sweet with a honey taste blended with soft peach and citrus notes. Try the Pink and Red Moscato for something new with an amazing red berry taste. Be sure to pay extra close attention to the Pink Moscato for additional notes of orange blossom.
