Sip Out of The Ordinary – Rock Wall Wines
Rock Wall changes East Bay winemaking scene.
Housed in a converted 40,000 square-foot airplane hangar.
Join Wine Channel TV host Jessica Altieri with a trip to Rock Wall Wine Company. Did we mention it’s located on the former Alameda Naval Air Base which was decommissioned in 1997.
If you haven’t had the chance to visit Rock Wall Wine Company in Alameda and winemaker Shauna Rosenblum, add it to your spring wine tour list. The vision and passion for wine is evident to every person who enters the hangar, otherwise known as Building 24. Wine Channel TV visited this spectacular wine lifestyle venue and gives you and inside sip with our video interview with Shauna Rosenblum.
How unique is it? Here is the description from the Rock Wall website: “Housed in a converted 40,000 square-foot airplane hangar the winery is located on what was once a Naval Air Base. Also known as Building 24, the hangar is due north of a defensive rock wall which made up the perimeter of the base. Taking their name from this protective wall, the Rock Wall winery building has been retrofitted with state-of-the-art winemaking equipment.”
