Beaujolais Nouveau 2012 Wine Lifestyle
“Le Beaujolais Est Arrivé!” What’s your plans for the big day? The Institut National des Appellations d’Origine (INAO) originally established the third Thursday of November in 1985 to allow for a consistent release date for the wine. This Fruity, Gamay varietal wine is fermented for only a few days then bottled, and meant to be drunk young. Under French law, the wine may be released at 12:01 a.m. on the third Thursday of November, just weeks after the wine’s grapes have been harvested. Fermentation is so short that the resulting wine exhibits fruity flavors and light tannins. The wine lifestyle for Beaujolais Nouveau 2012 is expected to be as big, fun and exciting as ever! Be sure to look for local parties in your city.
