Dia De Los Muertos and Toad Hollow Wine at Kenmore Live Studio
Many Holidays to celebrate this time of year from all around the world. We had a chance to celebrate the Day of the Dead at the Kenmore Live Studio this past week. Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de Muertos) is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world in many cultures.
We paired a great selection of Mexican dishes prepared by Chef Kari Karch with a Toad Hollow Chardonnay. Toad Hollow was ahead of the trend of UNOAKED Chardonnay as they opened the door to a world of Chardonnay that tasted like the varietal. They keep their Chardonnay clean and refreshing allowing the fruit to shine through.
We also had the chance to stop by the WGN Midday News set and celebrate some traditional Halloween Dishes with Chef Cliff Hagerman of Trader Todd’s, a must stop place for great food, drinks and world famous karaoke!
