Pete Millers and Trefethen wine- A Top Chicago wine and dine combo !
Not many things can top Easter Brunch. Especially at Pete Miller’s Restaurant in Illinois.
Everything your heart can desire was there to feast on – crab legs, hot carved turkey, ham, roast beef, pasta and omelette station, stir fry, and more; and as if you weren’t already stuffed, don’t forget about the infamous dessert bar with the chocolate fountain and banana foster/cherry jubilee stations.
Did I mention there was also a jazz band and magic man !?
Watch this clip to see me getting fooled 🙂 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQx0VtTrM4k
But, there was only one thing that could make that brunch perfection- a great bottle of 2007 Double T Red Wine from Trefethen Family Vineyards. Trefethen seems to be showing up everywhere I look, and I’m loving it.
This bold, blackberry, jammy red blend of 5 classic Bordeaux varietals was a great wine on its own and it’s raspberry , chocolate finish stood up wonderfully to all those chocolate desserts 😉
Take a look to see WineChannelTV in action talking with the manager Terry on this Sunday Funday!
