The Nautilus Estate vineyard of the Marlborough wine region in New Zealand is unique by having two wineries located side by side. Their white winery was completed in 2006 in order for the vineyard to have better control over the winemaking process. An excellent addition to their vineyard was their new winery for Sauvignon Blanc, Cuvee, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris wines which also has helped them reduce their impact on the environment by reducing the amount of energy and waste produced at the winery. The vineyard takes to growing the perfect grapes for their Sauvignon Blanc very seriously from keeping a close eye on the growth of the grapes to the fermentation process.
