Landry’s Seafood House is not your typical seafood joint in Florida. It’s a dynasty. Well, it’s been around since 1947 so that counts for something in my book
I traveled over there for brunch one Sunday and decided to see what all the buzz was about with this scenic restaurant on the water that started in Louisiana and now has over 24 locations.
Good thing I got there early, it was packed ! The wine list was good, nothing special. I went with the J.Lohr Cabernet Sauvignon which was juicy with great black cherry/vanilla notes, a dark blackberry flavor and a smooth finish. But I have to admit , they are known for their 21 ounce Mai Tai’s, so I gave in and It was delicious!
Watch this video to see what the hype is all about for this restaurant that claims to have the BEST seafood and see how the wine measures up with WineChannelTV !
Cheers,
J
