The Westin in Tampa, Florida has a lot more to offer than a great night’s sleep.
Aquaknox, their restaurant/bar, made my meeting. It’s super chic bar had a wine cellar with flowing water behind it…after a few glasses I couldn’t stop staring at the thing
The music got me in the mood for a little Argentian vino. I went with the Terrazas Malbec, from Mendoza Argentina. The dark plum and cocoa notes off the bat were great in this garnet colored beauty.
But the taste was like licking the inside of a barrel…boy did I need a nice hearty wood-oven charcoaled steak or pizza to complement this wine.
For around 9 Bucks a glass, I wouldn’t go with this vino again unless I had that steak by my side…but check out this video to see why I would go BACK to the Westin and give them another shot!
Cheers!

Nice scenery! Barrel licking…I’m gonna have to expand my pallet and do just that so I can know exactly what you mean
