WCTV and a Wal-Mart wine for summer, or winter in FL !

It’s winter, I live on the beach and it’s 80 degrees out- today was definitely a summer type of wine day!
So I looked in my house and Wal-Mart’s Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, NZ 07′ was my wine of choice; the Monkey on the bottle just seemed to scream summer ![]()
The pronounced vanilla and pineapple notes hit you delightfully smack on the nose.
At first the flavor is a bit tart/acidic, but then the hints of crisp golden apple and lime in there come out nicely.
This wine is only $9.97 so it’s obviously not a budget breaker.
It got better by the next glass, but I’m guessing that’s only because I was on the beach in need of something refreshing, and there was my Monkey Bay ![]()
Not the best SB I’ve ever had, but not a down the drainer.
If you’re looking for something summery and under 10 bucks at Wal-Mart then this Monkey would hit the spot!
Take a look to see the Monkey and I in action by the beach!
Cheers!
J
PS I think my camera person had a little too much Monkey Bay per the shaky ending of the vid LOL
