Wine Brands Support Primo Classico 2016
5th Annual Primo Classico
Super Charged Evening to Win the Race Against Homelessness
The 5th Annual Primo Classico, an extravagant evening of food, fashion and luxe automobiles benefiting Chicago’s Primo Center for Women and Children, was supported by a choice lineup of world-renowned wines and sponsors. The event wowed with exquisite wines, culinary excellence, luxury rides and unbelievable live auctions. Wine Channel TV CEO, Certified Sommelier and California Wine Appellation Specialist®, Jessica Altieri curated the wine program while Wine Channel TV served as one of the presenting sponsors for the event.
First and foremost, the Primo Classico is a night about empowering families and transforming communities. The mission of the Primo Center is to, “empower women and children to become productive, responsible, and independent members of their community. The Primo Center for Women and Children is committed to breaking the cycle of intergenerational homelessness and poverty for families. The Primo Center provides shelter and permanent housing, a unique mix of trauma-informed behavioral health services, an on-site early childhood center, and family-centered home visiting services.” The net proceeds from the Primo Classico event will directly benefit the organization — enabling the Primo Center to continue its life-altering programs. The Primo Classico works to support the center’s mission: ending homelessness one family at a time.
