Have you ever gotten “lucky” at Wal-Mart? I’m not sure what you were thinking, but of course I meant when purchasing a great wine
With the Lucky Duck Australian Chardonnay in my glass, at only $3.97 from Wal-Mart, I was not feeling like I was getting lucky that night at all.
In my hunt to find out more about this Aussie Chardonnay, I did not happen to see much information on this wine online. I did find articles on their Cabernet and Sauv. Blanc. but that was it, how about you ?
If you find some info. let me know, where?!
I would give this wine 1.5 stars out of 4. This citrus forward chardonnay was a refreshing distinction from many typical chards, but the acidity was a bit much for me and I knew I would get that typical “cheap” wine headache soon after.
Buying this again won’t happen, but it was not that horrible that I had to pour it down the drain. And again, it wasn’t exactly $20 bucks I would be tossing down there !
Check out this video to see why this wine got Lucky to stay in my glass !
Cheers!

Thanks Jess. Would you say this COULD BE your “goto chard” when it’s just you and about 4 hours worth of computer work ahead of you sitting at home? For me, Monkey Bay (you did a review weeks ago
sauvi blanc is my “goto white” for such times.
I do like chards, but NOT the “oak monster”, “I just ate a whole stick of butter” kind. I have a Pacific Oasis ‘05 unoaked chard I’m gonna be trying this week. But saving a few $ is always cool!
Thanks Jess,
Martin

The Malbec and Shiraz are fantastic!! I couldn’t believe how great they were, for such an inexpensive price. I’ve seen mediocre reviews for the white… but I highly recommend both of these bottles of red.
