Where is Spadafora? It is located in the local area called of Monreale about 250 and 400 meters above sea level. The vineyard includes about 95 hectares of vineyards and 20 hectares of olives. Grapes produced here include Catarratto, Grillo, Chardonnay and Inzolia for the white varieties and Syrah, Cabernet, Merlot and Nero d’Avola for the red grapes. The first bottle was produced in 1993 and the rest if history. It’s only fitting that the first wine was the Don Pietro red, which would end up on the tables around the world. Spadafora Winery is a special place in Sicily with a family history and tradition that make enjoying the wine a special occasion any time of year. Visit Spadafora Winery here….
